Repairs to Rangatira Repair work to the hull of the Rangatira Is , now practically comp'eted and it is anticipated that the vessel will come off the floating dock next Monday or Tuesday. If the weather is suitable to-day, one of the Union Company’s oil hulks will be brought alongside the floating dock to pump oil-fuel into the Rangatira’s hunkers to enable the vessel to get up steam for trial purposes. After slio comes off the dock the Rangatira will be laid up for a monlh or six weeks to enable, engineroom and other internal repairs to be completed before she re-enters tiie Wellington-Lyttelton service.
