SUNDAY CONCERT
Eastbourne Approval Permission to hold a Sunday concert in a theatre at Eastbourne was granted the Wellington Caledonian Society's pipe band by the Eastbourne Borough Council last evening after a motion that permission be refused had been lost. The permission is subject to the commencement being at 8.30 p.m.. to a dancing item being omitted, and the iproI’ramme being approved by the council. An amendment that no reference to the dance should be made was lost.
