ROYAL VISIT SOUGHT
Australian Celebrations (Received May 22. 1 a.m.) Sydney, May 21. Mr. J. Dunningham, Minister in charge of the celebrations of Australia’s birthday in 1935, announced that attempts are being made to arrange for a Royal visit, also representation of the fleets of foreign Powers. He is hopeful that tourist interests will receive an impetus from the celebrations, which will include a water pageant in connection with the Empire Games and a surf carnival on an unprecedented scale.
