SEAMEN ENTERTAINED

In the presence of his Grace Archbishop O’Shea, and the Kevcrcnd Father Fletcher, one of the happiest and most successful evenings the A.M.I.C. has ever held took place recently. About 70 men from the ships in port, and Children of Mary from the various parishes, were also present. The music was particularly good, being rendered by Messrs. Rex Wakefield (piano), W. Huxley (saxophone), .1. Mclntosh (violin) and W. Robinson (drums), of the s.s. Rotorua. Misses J. Doyle and S. Melndoe played popular piano duets, and Miss Jeane Coker's humorous recitations caused much merriment Excellent tap and skipping dances were given by little Judy Cooper. Master Wollott and Miss Tracy. Vocal items by Mrs. Tracey, Misses and Master O'Sullivan Were heartily applauded. Messrs. Mallia (president I. Ridler (secretary), and Rafter welcomed Archbishop O'Shea and the mon from the ships.
