SOLICITOR CHARGED
Intent to Defraud Alleged (Received May 19, 8.40 p.m.) Adelaide, May 19. _ Harold York Thompson, aged 35, solicitor, Parramatta, was before the Adelaide Police Court to-day charged with having uttered a forged memorandum of transfer under the Real Property Act purporting to be signed by Arthur Jordan, with intent to defraud. The prosecutor said be understood matters were pending at Sydney involving several thousands of pounds. Thompson’s arrest was effected. on a provisional warrant issued at Sydney. Thompson was remanded unnil Monday. He did not apply for bail.
