VISITORS FROM ABROAD
Messrs. C. F. Andrew and T. Z. Koo Coming Among interesting people who are to visit Wellington shortly is Mr. C. F. Andrew, of India. He has written much about that country, and has an understanding of its people born of long residence there. Mr. Andrew, who is coming to New Zealand under the auspices of the Student. Christian Movement, has been for over a quarter of a century an intimate friend of Mahatma Gandhi. When during tiie Great War Gandhi got into trouble in South Africa, lie sent for Mr. Andrew, who travelled all the way from India to help his friend. It was Mr. Andrew, too, who when a serious situation arose in Fiji over indentured labour from India was appointed to inquire into and clear up tiie trouble. Another who is to visit New Zealand toward the end of the year under the joint auspices of tho Y.M.C.A. and the Student Christian Movement is that brilliant Chinese, Mr. T. Z. Koo, who was in New Zealand about four years ago.
