The Children Begin the Winter Term (By Betty R.) The holidays are nearly over now, and the children are beginning to talk about the winter term —not only the children, either. Their parents are confronted by a host of new problems —dancing lessons, football jerseys, strong boots and shoes, hockey sticks, overcoats, school lunches, and so on. All the family seems to want something new, and the question is how to do it all at the very smallest cost. Just at the right moment, along comes Felicity with a crowd of ideas which should be very helpful to mothers, and children, too. She found all this out, I think, because she has a number of small friends who are always coining to her for advice. Anyway, these are her notions on the subject. . . .
