WEDDINGS
McGibbon—Seifert The wedding was solemnised at St. Andis.'W*s Presbyterian Ghuich, I almerston North, last week of Una Knight, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Seifert, Feilding, and Dunean, third son of Mr. and Mrs. John McGibbon, Waitahora, Dannevirke. The officiating minister was the Rev, J. Hubbard, M.A., B.D. The bride, who entered the church with her uncle, .Mr. Alfred Seifert, wore a model frock of deep blue silk crepe, with wide wing-shaped sleeves heavily worked on the shoulders with Oriental motifs, and a blue hat. trimmed with tucked ribbon. She carried a bouquet of autumn leaves, earnations. butterfly chrysanthemums and pink lilies. The matron of honour, Mrs. k, H. McKenzie, Shannon, wore a charming frock of alice-blue georgette, made with full bishop sleeves, shirred on the shoulders and worked in pastel shades, and a blue felt halo hat. Her bouquet was similar to that of the bride. Mr. lan McGibbon, the bridegroom’s brother, was best man, and Mr. A. J. Graham was at the organ. A small reception was held later, onlj’ relatives of the bride and bridegroom being present. Mrs. Seifert, mother of the bride, wore a navy blue woollen suit, trimmed with scarlet and white, and nav.v blue stitched velvet hat. Mrs. McGibbon, mother of the bridegroom, wore a smart frock of blue, a black sealskin coat and a black hat. Later, when Mr. and Mrs. Duncan McGibbon left for a tour of the north, the latter was wearing a smart brown kasha doth dress trimmed at the high neckline with smocking of saxe blue, a brown stitched felt hat and a dark brown coat with a large brown fox fur collar, brown crocodile court shoes and handbag. Their future home will be at Waitahora.
