WRONG INFORMATION TO POLICE
Man Fined at Wanganui By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wanganui, May IS. For supplying wrong information to the iwlice at Auckland that he had been robbed of £ll7 at the races, David Gordon Lindsay was fined £5 this afternoon. His itatement caused a certain amount of suspicion to rest at the time on two other people who were with him at the races Accused had lost a wallet containing £l6. It was the first prosecution here under this new section of the Act.
