British Speculation Said To Be Premature BUDGET LEAKAGE ISSUE By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. (Received May 17, 7.30 p.m.) London, May 16. Any speculation regarding Cabinet reconstruction following the Budget leakage is considered to be premature, especially as the tribunal is still sitting and will not give an early decision but will report to Cabinet. The only change at present anticipated will be due to Lord Monsell’s retirement from the Admiralty, which is expected to be about Whitsuntide. Sir Samuel Hoare will probably <ncceetl him. BUDGET TRIBUNAL (British official Wireless.) Rugby. May 15. The judicial tribunal which is inquiring into the alleged leakage of Budget information took further evidence to-day regarding various insurances effected against rises in income tax and in tea duty, and then .adjourned till Monday.
