OFFICERS ELECTED

Women’s Welfare League A decision to open the two-garnient room on May 2G was made at the annual meeting of the Masterton bomen’s National Welfare League, over which Mrs. H. E. T’iWier presided. The following officers were elected: —President, Mrs. 11. E. Either; vicepresidents. Mesdames T. Jordan, S. Fletcher, R. C. Drummond, and Miss M. Kummer; secretary, Mrs. A. Kilgour; treasurer, Miss M. Boddington. Conveners of committees were appointed as follow:—Hospital committee, Miss M. Kummer; Buchanan Home, Mrs. S. J. Munn; social welfare work. Mrs. S. Fletcher; Blind Institute work, Mrs. H. E. Either; two-garment work, Mrs A. Skjellerup; secretary of twogarment work, Mrs. A. W. Charleson. In recognition of her valued services over a long period of years. Mrs. W. H. Jackson was elected a life member.
