J. Coles, 77/3; Howard Smith, 17/14. British Treasury Bills (British Official Wireless.) London, May 15. The total amount applied for in 'tenders for _£45,000,000 Treasury bills was £75,580,000. The average rate per cent, for bills at three months was 10/5.98d., against 10/5.91d. a week ago. Wright, Stephenson & .Co., Ltd. The directors of Wright, Stephenson and Co.. Ltd., have decided to change the annual balance date of the company from March 31 to June 30. The next accounts issued will be for the 15 months ended June 30 next. The company considers the change will balance the office work better, and states that under the relief legislation of recent years the. budgeting period for farmers’ accounts has become largely the year from July 1 to June 30. Bank of New Zealand The share transfer books- of the Bank of New Zealand will be closed from May 22 to June 12, both days inclusive.
