Motor-cyclist’s Severe Head Injuries By Telegraph—Press Association. Ashburton, May 16. As a result of a collision with a car at the corner of Wills and West Streets at noon to-day a motor-cyclist, Frank Newman, aged 47. of Wills Street, bushman. was admitted to the public hospital with severe head injuries aud a compound fracture of the base of the skull. The machines met at right angles, the motor-cycle striking the left rear wheel of the car. which was driven by Malcolm Dixon, of Carter’s Terrace, Tinwald.
