INJURED IN BLASTING OPERATION

Week-end Accidents Struck by a piece of rock during blasting operations at Fort Dorset, Seatoun, shortly after 11 a.m. on Saturday, Mr. P. W. Bowman, a carpenter, of 5A Pinrose Avenue, received head injuries and scalp wounds. After receiving medical attention he was taken to hospital by the Free Ambulance. He was discharged yesterday. Knocked down by a motor car in Lambton Quay at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Mr. 11. T. Kotua. a labourer, of Plimmerton, received abrasions and concussion. He was taken to hospital by the Free Ambulance. His condition was later reported to be satisfactory.
