Wellington Market Active HEAVY TRADING DONE There was a more cheerful tone in the Wellington stock and share market, which, in a number of sections, was firm and active. . . Gold Mining Returns W orksop Extended Gold Dredging Company, Ltd., reports that during the week ended Thursday, 29 ounces was won from 11.200 cubic yards worked in 15(5 hours. Talisman Dubbo Gold Mines, Ltd., reports that, 45 1-3 tons of ore was treated nt the Golden Dawn battery for an approximate realisation of £370. The return at the King Solomon Mine this week was 350 z. 2dwt.. says a Press Association message from Invercargill. Oamaru Woollen Dividend Oamarii Worsted and Woollen Mills. Ltd., yesterday advised the Stock Exchange Association that an interim dividend <>f 2} per cent, for the six months ended April 30, had been declared, payable on June 15.
