RABBITSKIN SALE Marked Rise in Prices The first rabbitskin sale of the season was held at Wellington yesterday, before a good representation of buyers. The offering comprised chiefly summers and autumns, with a large proportion of inferior grades, ns is always the case with the first sale of the season. Driees showed n vast Improvement on previous rates, in some cases lower grades bringing treble what they did at the corresponding sale last year. For the few lines of incoming mid early winter skins submitted, excellent prices were recorded. On to-day's values trappers are assured of n profitable season.
