RIVER BOARD MEMBER
Resignation of Mr. V. A. Noble Ou account of ill-health, Mr. A. A. Noble has resigned his seat on the Hutt River Board. Mr. Noble was the only member of the board resident in Petone, Nominations for the vacancy will close on May 28. Mr. Noble is also a member of the I’etone Borough Council, on which body he has served for a number of years. Unless his health speedily improves it is feared that he will have to resign his seat on that council also. The loss would be the more serious as he is chairman of the works committee of the council. i
