END-OF-SEASON DANCE
Upper Hutt Tennis Club The Upper Hutt Tennis Club held a dance recently in the Record Hall to mark the close of the playing season, and in spite of the ineelement weather 1-10 dancers enjoyed themselves to the strains of Dean’s Syncopatore. Mr. H. E. Thomas was M.C., and the members of the committee associated with him were Mrs. G. Robertson, Miss I. Braid, Messrs. G. Robertson, K. Spencer, G. Neighbours and C. Anderson. Among those present were Mrs. 0. Gibbs, Mrs. Urquhart, Misses E. Johnson, E. Millan, O. Jackson, K. and M. O’Flaherty, I. and J. Sheil, E. White, E. Cooke. A. Braid, M. Skerton, B. Burns, and Messrs. L. Brown, A. Scott, T. Herbert, N. Edwards, L. O’Flahertv, R. Barker, L. Jackson, J. Graham, A. Swanson, R. Skerton, R. Benge.
