TWO MEN INJURED
Motor-cycle Crashes at Crossing By Telegraph.—Press Association. Greymouth, April 29. As a result of the steering gear of a motor-cycle jamming at the South Beach railway crossing this evening, the machine crashed into the cattlestop, and Thomas Coyle, 22 years of age, single, and William H. Stickle, 30 years of age, married, both of Hokitika, were admitted to Grey Hospital. Both were thrown into the air, Coyle hitting a post and Stickle landing in some gorse. Coyle received severe head injuries, concussion, abrasions and shock, and his condition is critical, but improving. Stickle received slight concussion, abrasions and -shock, and his condition is satisfactory.
