TWO LINERS TO-DAY
Makura and Monowai Two liners are due at Wellington today, bringing passengers, mails and cargo. The Union Company s R.M.S. M&kura, en route from San Francisco via Papeete and Rarotonga, has reported by wireless that she c be expected to arrive in the stream at 7 o’clock this morning, and she "trill berth at the Taranaki Street wharf. The Makura brings 329 bags of mail and 64 parcel receptacles for Wellington. The vessel will leave to-morrow afternoon for Sydney, where she is due on Saturday morning.
The liner Monowai, en rou’e from Sydney, is expected to arrive in the stream at 3 p.m., and will berth at No. 1 south Queen’s Wharf. She has S 3 bags of mall, including air mail dispatched from London on February 9, and 91 parcel receptacles for Wellington. The Monowai will leave tomorrow for Auckland, sailing thence next Friday for Sydney.
