Accident at Waikana*e Beach Sports ■When their car capsized at Waikanae beach yesterday during the Ixipa Motor-cycle Club’s sports, two young women and two young men were fortunate to escape serious injury, though one of the former was lifted from the car unconscious. The mishap occurred just before the completion of the sports, at 1.30. The beach was crowded with spectators. The car, a light inodci, was being driven north along the beach, and capsized when the driver attempted to turn. The young woman, who was lifted from the upturned car in an unconscious condition, recovered a few minutes later; the other was slightly cut about the head by flying glass. The two young men escaped unhurt. After it had been righted the car was totted from the fcCCAI,.
