Wellington Association Meeting A meeting of the management committee of the Wellington Lawn Tennis Association was held last night, the chairman, Mr. J. L. Mac Duff, presiding. It was decided to inform the Hutt Valley sub-association that April 4 was the only date available to play the annual representative match between 'Wellington and Hutt Valley. The Hutt Valley subassociation had written suggesting March 21 as a suitable date. The same conditions as obtained last season will hold for the champion of champions tournament, to be played on hard courts (to be decided upon), on March 28 and 29. Dunlop Company (through their New Zealand agents, Messrs. Van Staveren Bros.) have presented a handsome silver challenge cup for the men’s singles in the champion of champions tournament at Easter. The donors are to be thanked. Ranking matches, already advertised but not played owing to the wet weather, will he played to-morrow .afternoon at Miramar, commencing at 1.30.
