In the Sheffield Shield match against Victoria, who in their first innings made 406, Queensland, who in their first Innings made 104, declared their second innings closed with §lx wickets down for 47S (Hansen 72. Cook 56 not out, Gregory two wickets for 80. Plant two for 81, Welch’ two for 116).

Victoria, in their second innings lost two wickets for 179 (Rigg 78 not out, Lee 43, Scaife 46 not out, Gilbert one for 31, Wyeth one for 39). Victoria won on the first innings.
