Dominions to Have Greater Voice INTERNATIONAL TOURS By Telegraph—Pryss Assn.—Copyright. Fremantle, February 5. Having attended the Imperial Rugby Conference in London, Mr. S. S. Dean, chairman of the management committee of the New. Zealand Rugby Union;' Mr. J. Prendeville, chairman of the Wellington Rugby Union’s management committee, and Mr. H. Holden, of the New South Wales Rugby Union, arrived by the Orontes. In a joint interview they said that as a result of the conference the Dominions would, through the Rugby Football Union (England), have a greater voice in thq framing of the laws of the game. The constitution of a special constitution and laws committee had been approved by the conference. Australia’s request for amendment to the kick-lnto-touch rule was sure to be-approved by the Home authorities. They added that there should be far better understanding and greater harmony in the management, control and playiiig of the game as a result of the conference, which was the first at which all the Dominions were represented. 1

The delegates stated that a programme of international matches had been tentatively arranged for confirmation by the respective unions as follows: Australia visits New Zealand this year. South Africa visits Australia and New Zealand in 1937. Britain visits South Africa in 1938. These tours are definitely fixed. Other tours proposed are: 1939, Australia to Britain; 1940, New Zealand to South Africa; 1942, Britain to Australia and New'Zealand; 1943, South Africa to Britain; 1947, New Zealand to Britain. The New Zealander M. McG. Qfloper, who has been chosen to play for Scotland against Ireland on February 22, is to. captain a strong Oxford University Rugby team, including Prince Obolensky, which Is going tq California in March.

The team will be playing five matches, and will make its headquarters at Hollywood.
