Sir, —I understood that the “Wireless Jamming” case was to be heard on January 7 last. L’p to date I have noticed no report about same in the Press. Seeing that the incident created some stir at the time, and it is a matter of “great public interest,’” would you kindly give your readers any information you may-possess on the matter, and the reason why no. report has been printed; that is providing, of course, the ease was heard on the 7th as previously announced. If you have nothing to say on the matter, possibly the Hon. Mr. Jones might make a statement on the subject, as I can assure him the public of New Zealand are eagerly awaiting the issue.—l am. etc.,

Jones, yesterday. tho Minister snhl. “On January 9 I made a brief statement that investigations made by the Government established that the ‘jamming’ of tho ‘Friendly Rond' radio station. IZB. Auckland, just before the general election, was done under instructions issued by responsible authorities with the consent of the then Postmaster-General. Hon. A. Hamilton, to the taking, of the steps that were adopted to put. the station off the air on that occasion. Subsequently Mr. Hamilton announced that lie accepted whatever responsibility there might bo for the action that was taken in preventing IZB from broadcasting prior to the' general election.”]
