SCAFFOLDING ACT
New Regulations Issued New regulations under the Scaffolding and Excavation Act have been gazetted, replacing those previously in force. Many new features have been incorporated in a comprehensive form, and everything possible has been done to provide for the safety of workmen on all forms of modern construction, demolition, and excavation. Contractors, builders, painters, bricklayers, plumbers, electricians and others affected by the Scaffolding and Excavation Act should make themselves familiar with the provisions of the new regulations. Copies may be procured at the office of the inspector of scaffolding, Department of Labour, Ghnznee Street, or al the Government: Print lag Office.
