At a. meeting of the Wellington Employers’ Association’s executive yesterdax. the president, Mr. 11. Mainland, extended a welcome home to Mr. D. J. McGowan, vice-president of the association, who recently returned from an extended trip abroad. Air. Mainland referred to the valuable help that Mr. McGowan hail been to the association in the past, and said all were pleased that Mr. and Mrs. McGowan hud returned tafely to New Zealand. Mr. McGowan, in reply, thanked the president and members for their welcome, and for their kindly reference to Mrs. McGowan. He assured those present that he would in the future, as in the past, do bis utmost in the interests of the association.
