OBITUARY

Mrs. F. G. Bolton

A well-known resident of Wellington, Jlre. Bolton, widow of the late Jlr. F. G. Bolton, of 20 Tinakori Road, died suddenly yesterday morning after a brief illness. Jlrs. Bolton, who was formerly Miss Margaret Hutchinson, of Auckland, was a resident, of Wellington throughout her married life. Her husband was a prominent lawyer, and for some years was Jlayor of Eastbourne. The late Mrs. Bolton was greatly respected for her social and charitable activities, particularly those in connection with the Home of Compassion, the St. Vincent de Paul Society, and the affairs of the Thorndou parish. She was an indefatigable worker for all worthy causes, and her services will be greatly missed. Jlrs. Bolton leaves a family of two sons, Messrs. Frederick and Frank Bolton, and three daughters, Jlesdames R. N. Moody (Auckland), W. Mansfield (Eastbourne), and Jliss Marie Bolton (now on holiday at Colombo).
