Ministerial. The Hon. W. Lee Martin, Minister of Agriculture, will leave Wellington for Hamilton by the Limited express tonight. To-morrow morning Mr. Lee Martin will attend a meeting of the Waikato Central Electric Power Board, of which he has been a member for a number of years. In the early afternoon he will attend a meeting of the Dominion executive of the Women’s Division of the Now Zealand Farmers’ Union, and later he will proceed to Huntly to “meet, the borough council in that town. Mr. Lee’Martin will return to Wellington on Thursday morning. The Hou. 11. G. R. Mason. AttorneyGeneral, returned to Wellington from Auckland by the Limited express yesterday morning. The lion. F. Langstoue. Minister ot Lands, will leave Wellington for Manunui on Thursday night to attend a ball in his honour to be given by the Manunui branch of the Labour Party. He will return to Wellington on Saturday. While in Taumarunui he will receive a number of deputations and will attend to departmental matters. The Hon. D. G. Sullivan, Minister of Industries and Commerce, is expected to return to Wellington from the South Island to-day. The Hom P. Fraser, Minister of Health and Education, will leave Wellington to-morrow for Napier, where he will meet deputations and discuss matters concerning hospital and education control in Hawke’s Bay. He will be given a civic reception on his arrival, and in the evening will attend a Labour function in his honour. He will visit. Port Ahuriri and Hastings. One of the requests that will be made to him will be for a gran I of £20,000 to enable the Hawke’s Bay Hospital Board to complete the Hospital facilities at Napier and Hastings. The Minister may go to Wanganui on his return to Wellington and discuss certain departmental matters with the authorities there.
Major J. P. Oakes arrived at Wellington yesterday from Auckland on his way to Christchurch. Mr. J. H. Wright, of Burns,' Philp and Co., Ltd., arrived at Wellington from Sydney this morning. Dr. J. Loftus-Hills, of Sydney, consulting mining engineer, is a through passenger to Fiji from Sydney by the Mariposa, which arrived at Auckland on Saturday.
Mr. W. McHardy Forman, managing director of General Motors (New Zealand), Limited, who has been bn a business visit to Australia, arrived at. Wellington yesterday from Auckland.
