Miss Mavis Jack has returned to Wanganui from Wellington. Mrs. Dobby, Dunedin, is visiting Mrs. J. B. Jack, St. John’s Hill, ’Wanganui.

Mr. and Mrs. F. L. Row are Wanganui visitors to Paraparaumu.

Miss Gladys Moncrieff is visiting Christchurch.

Mrs. Rhoda Hammond left Wanganui yesterday to take up residence in Wellington.

Misses Rae and Brenda Bond have returned t<o Wanganui after spending several months in Sydney.

Miss Joan Rhodes is spending the holidays with Mrs. F. Krull at Waiterere beach.

Mr. and Airs. Duncan Banchop and son have returned by car from a trip to Rotorua.

Miss Elsa Mclntosh, Wellington, is the guest of Mrs. A. Doig, St. Johns Hill, Wanganui.

Mrs. E. Edwards, Wellington, is visiting her sister, Mrs. Ralph Brown. St. John’s Hill, Wanganui. Mrs. Holyoake, Auckland, is visiting her sister. Mrs? W. Strachan, Lornty, Wanganui. Mr. and Mrs. N. Izard have returned to Wanganui from a holiday spent at Gisborne.

Mrs. J. M. Earle and family. Lyall Bay, have taken a house at Waikanae for the summer holidays. Miss Madge Mathews, who has been the guest of Miss Natalie Danks, Christchurch, has returned to Wellington. Mrs. A. H. Johns, Hobson Street, and her two daughters, are touring the South Island.

Dr. L. D. Cohen and Mrs. Cohen Karori, have returned to Wellington from Rotorua.

Miss E. Matheson, Havelock North, is visiting her parents, Mr. and MrsW. B. Matheson, Seatoun.

Mrs. Hanson, formerly of Welling ton, has taken up her residence at Mangonui.

Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Pascoe and their daughters, Pauline and Winifred Pascoe, have returned to Wellington after a tour of the North Island. Misses Rose Evison and M. Barraclojtgh have returned to Wellington from Wanganui, where they were the guests of Mr. Owen, Godwin Crescent. Mr. and Mrs. G. P. H. Davidson, Kelburn, who have been visiting Hawke’s Bay, have returned to Wellington, Miss Tassie .Steele has returned to Wellington after spending the holidays with her aunt, Mrs. A, Campbell Steele, “Tahunga,” Gisborne. Commander Howden, A.R.N., Mrs Howden and Master P. Howden, are visiting New Zealand, and are guests of Mrs. E. B. Vance, Day’s Bay. z Dr. and Mrs. E. W. Giesen, Western Hutt, are making a holiday trip through the South Island, which will include a tour of the Cold Lakes. Miss Helen Montague arrived in Wellington during the week-end, and will spend a few days with friends before leaving for the north.
