Charles Farrell to Star Although a cable from Hollywood on January 8 states that the well-known actor, Richard Dix. bad refused an offer from British-Gaumont. Sydney, to play the lead in “The Flying Doctor.” another famous actor. Charles Farrell, is already on his way to Australia to take the part. Air. S. S. Crick, managing director of life Fox Film Corporation (A’sia) Ltd., arrived in Auckland by the Mariposa on Saturday, and he will meet Mr. Farrell when lie arrives on the Monterey on January 24. Mr. Dix is reported to have said that, although he found the contract attractive, he had had to refuse, as a doctor had advised him against having Ids seven-nionth twin sons, Richard and Robert, taken a long trip.
