CALCUTTA RIOTING
Hindus and Mohammedans (Received December 29, 6.30 p.m.) Calcutta, December 28. Two were killed and 50 injured during Hindu-Jlohammedan rioting in Deshabandu Park. Fifteen were sent to hospital. The trouble was due to the golden jubilee of the National Congress clashing witli a Jlohainmedan religious festival. Mohammedans objected to Hindus drowning their prayers with slogans. Brickbats and stones flew and weapons were wielded before the police suppressed the riot.
