Ministerial. The Hon. 11. G. R. Mason, AttorneyGeneral and Minister of Justice, will leave Wellington this morning on an inspectional visit to the State prisons at Wanganui, Walkune, Rangipo, Hautu and Waikeria. The Minister, who will be accompanied by the ControllerGeneral of Prisons, Mr. B. L. Dallard, expects to reach Auckland on Saturday morning. The Hon. F. Jones, Postmaster-Gen-eral and Minister of Defence, returned to Wellington yesterday morning from Dunedin. The Hon. D. G. Sullivan, Minister of Railways, Industries and Commerce, is expected to return to Wellington tliis morning from Christchurch, The Hon. P. C. Webb, Minister of Mines, left "Wellington last evening by the inter-island steamer express for the South Island. He will visit the West Coast. Mr. Justice Reed left Wellington for the north yetserday. . Dr. and Mrs. E. S. Fossey, Riverton, arrived at Wellington yesterday from the south. Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Murtagh left Wellington for the south last night. Canon E. H. Strong left Wellington last night for the South Island'. Mr. R. E. Murray left Wellington for the north last night. Mr. and Mrs. Cyril Rltehard left Auckland by the Monterey on Tuesday for Honolulu and America. Mr. R. E. Hooker, Dannevirke, returned to Wellington from Picton on Tuesday and went north last night. Dr. Leslie Utz, of Sydney, is due to arrive at Wellington on January 11. He is to make a tour of New Zealand. Mr. L. G. K. Stevens, Christchurch, travelled south last night from Wellington. Mr. E. Rabbidge was a passenger from Wellington last night for the south. Lieut.-Commissioner If. Adams, of tlie Salvation Army, accompanied by Mrs. Adams, returned to Wellington from the South Island yesterday morning. Mr. D. L. Cameron, Wellington, has been admitted to membership of the Institution of Electrical Engineers as an associate member (A.M.1.E.E.). Mr. W. G. Rutherford, Wellington, has been admitted to membership of the Institution of Electrical Engineers as an associate member (A.M.1.E.E.). Mr. H. D. Latham, of the Madras Constabulary, Is at present the guest of his brother, Dr. Latham, at Pori rua. He is to see something of New Zealand before lie leaves on February 8 by the Monterey for San Francisco ien route to Europe, and so back to India.
