WAR RELIEF
Wellington Association The total available funds at November 30 last of the Wellington War Relief Association were £17,013/11/7. This was revealed in a report by the finance committee submitted at a meeting of the association yesterday. The chairman, Mr. L. 0. H. Tripp, presided, aud there were also present:. Messrs. A. Macintosh, C. M. Luke, C. Watson, 11. H. Seaton, G. Mitchell, and F. ..E. Bailey, secretary. The chairman reported that since the last meeting on November 28, the emergency committee had met on nine occasions, and had dealt with 30 claims, all of which had been confirmed by the applications committee, which had disposed of 44 applications. There were 52 applications still under action. Tire annual meeting was fixed for February 19.
