Man Dies In Hospital By Telegraph—Press Association. Gisborne, December 17. While returning to Tolaga Bay on Monday evening on the last lorry of logs being transported to Tolaga Bay for shipment to the K.D.V. Box Company, Auckland, John J. Pritchard, aged 59, a widower, was thrown to the ground and crushed by logs which became - dislodged when the lorry was passing another vehicle. Mr. Pritchard had a leg fractured and was suffering from shock. He was removed to the Cook Hospital and died to-night.
