One motor-ship and four steamers of British nationality were totally lost during September, but only ono foreign motorship and two steamers, according to the returns of the Liverpool Underwriters’ Association. This total of eight vessels compares with live in September last year, 12 in the same month of 1933 nnd 10 in 1932.
