Competition in Wairarapa Dominion Special Service. Masterton, December 17. The group judging in the calf-rearing competition held under the auspices of the Wairarapa Boys’ and Girls’ Agricultural Clubs, has now been completed. The entries this year were well up to standard, and the general condition and handling of the calves by the children was considerably better than last year. A considerable amount of apathy exists in some districts in regard to the work of the clubs,. but it is hoped that the enthusiasm displayed by the other groups will gradually extend to the whole of the Wairarapa.
