Club Race from Frankton The Petonc Homing Pigeon Club flew a race from Frankton, an air lino distance of 239 j miles, which' resulted in a very close contest. Following are the first eight places;.—J. Bolton’s bird. 1233.79 yds. per min., 1 : W. Asplit'w Royal Duke, 1233.32, 2; J. Drain’s bird. 1233.28, 3: W. Smith’s bird, 1233.21. 4; A. Boid and Son's Ava Guy. 1233.13 5; F. Eriksen’s bird. 1232.70. 6: G. Woodward's War Lad. 1232.27. 7: P. Mcxted’s bird. 1213.21, 8. Hutt Valley Club’s Race The Hutt Valley Homing Pigeon Club flew a race during the week-end from Taihape. a distance of 115 miles. Results are as follow:—A. Bold and Son’s. Silver Star, 1310.4, 1 : R. Leighton and Son’s, Clarries Last, 1308.3, 2: R. Andrews’s, Robinhood, 1302.6, 3; Hargrave’s. Little Sister, 1263; R. Reid and Son’s. Blue, 1259.3; G. Woodward's, Star Spot. 1256.6; R. Clark’s, bird. 1248.4; A. Mcxtcd's, Blazeawav, 1235.8: W.
