A strange “record” is claimed by Svetozar Preljitch, an old man who lives in the village of Jezevitza, near Belgrade. In the past sixty-seven years he has made 147 charges against the local authorities, caused forty-eight Chiefs of Police to be removed—and walked 32,160 miles to do it.
