KENT TEAM ROUTED

South African Cricketers VINCENT’S BOWLING FEAT \ London, August 29. The South African cricketers won the final first-class county match of their tour by defeating Kent at. Canterbury by an innings and 138 runs. The tourists carried their first innings total to 311 and then dismissed Kent twice during the remainder of the day’s play for 124 and 49. Kent’s decisive defeat was largely due to the remarkable slow bowling of Vincent. In what was easily his best performance of the tour, Vincent took seven wickets at. a cost of 48 runs in Kent’s first innings and two for 5 in the second. The remaining eight wickets in the county’s second innings were shared by Crisp (four for 21) and Langton (four for 18). Ashdown was the only Kent player to reach double figures.
