WANGANUI PLUNKET COMPETITION
As the result of successful co-opera-tive efforts in organising a baby photographic competition the Wanganui Plunket Society has benefited to the extent of £275. Mrs. H. D. Robertson, president of the society, and her committee are more than pleased with the result of the effort. The Wanganui Girls’ College raised £34. through its whole-hearted support of the twins, Eleanor and Margaret McDonald, in the photographic competition. The winners were:— Class A (under six months) : Frederick McMillan 1: Joy Lampe 2. Class B (over six and under 12 months) : Robin Ives 1, Rosemary Lovegrove 2. Class C (over one, and under two years): Shirley Thomson 1, Ross Gilbert 2. Class D (over two and under six years): Dudley Porter 1, Alan Burgess 2.
■Class E (twins or triplets): E. and M. McDonald.
The photographs were displayed in the D.I.C. lounge by courtesy of the manager. Mr. R. D. Thomson, and attracted much attention.
