Later Waking Hours

A tiew. time-iable, involving the waking of patients later than hitherto, is to be adopted at the Wellington Public Hospital from November 1 next, according to a decision by the hospital board last night on the recommendation of the superintendent. Dr. A. R. Thorne. The new time-table is:

7 a.m.. patients called: ward routine commences; S a.m.. patients’ breakfast; 9.15 a.m., wards open for medical rounds; 12.30, patients’ dinner; 3 to 4 p.m., visitors on special days; 5,80 p.m., patients’ tea; 7 to 7.30 p.m., visitors on.visiting nights; 8.30 p.m., lights out; 16 p.m. to 7 a.m., special treatments only.
