It is a thrilling spy story adapted from the novel by John Buchan and much of the story is laid in Scotland. Entrusted with a part he has often longed to play. Robert Donat is in his element as “Richard Hannay.” the hero. Others in the cast are Godfrey Tearl, Peggy Ashcroft, Frank Cellier, Helen Haye and many others. Alfred Hitchcock, of “The Man Who Knew Too Much” fame, directed.
