On the Sydney Stock Exchange to-day the investment market displayed an improved tone, for which- the bright prospects for the opening of the wool sales next week and the outlook for rain in the country were partly responsible. Selling pressure slackened considerably. Interest in Fiji gold concerns was sustained. Tavtia Developments, after a firmer opening, returned to the overnight level. Mineral developments hardened (mil Koroere improved. Loloma, however, was quoted lower without business resulting.
