ANGLICAN MEETINGS
Boards and Committee The annual meeting of the Board of Theological Studies of the Anglican Church was held at the Wellington Diocesan Library yesterday. The board is the authority which issues theological degrees to candidates. Meetings of the Anglican Board of Missions and the standing Committee of the General Synod also were begun yesterday and will continue to-day.
The annual service .of the Board of Missions will take place in St. Peter’s Church, Willis. Street, to-night. The preacher will be the lit. Rev. Dr. Hilliard, Bishop of Nelsom The bishops attending the meetings are Archbishop A. W. Averill (Auckland), Bishop T. H. Sprott (Wellington), Bishop A. C. Cherrington (Waikato), Bishop O. West-Watson (Christchurch), Bishop H. W. Williams (Waiapu), Bishop W. A. R. Fitchett (Dunedin), and Bishop W. J. Hilliard (Nelson). In addition to the Bishops, a number of members of the several boards, both clerical and lay, have arrived in Wellington to take part in the conferences.
