Wairarapa Competition

Concluded Mastertoil, August 26. Playing consistently good hockey throughout the. season, the Greytown senior women’s team carried off the honours. in the Wairarapa Hoekey Association’s senior competition by the narrow margin of oue point. The winners went through, the season without a single loss, although they were held to two drawn matches, one with United, te runners-up, and the other with Old Girls. This is Greytown’s first win in the senior championship for many years, although they shared the honours with Gladstone last year. The final positions of the various competing teams were as follows. The following Wairarapa women’s senior B and junior hockey representative teams will try conclusions with Wellington teams at Wellington on Saturday next: — Senior B: Misses Bliss (High School Old Girls), N.
