Masterton.— Glimpses of sunshine; heavy passing clouds; strong northerly breeze. Waipukurau.— Beautiful sunshine prevailed throughout the week-end. Yesteiday was dull and overcast, and late in the afternoon misty rain fell. . • Auckland. — Very wet. A northerly wind increased to a fresh breeze early in the morning and afterwards frequent heavy showers were experienced until the afternoon when the conditions improved. The barometer fell to 29.75 m. and Christcliurch.— Warm and pleasant with a fresh north-north-east breeze in the morning, changing to light north-west in the afternoon The maximum temperature was G2.Sdeg.
