BRITISH TRADE IN JUNE Increase in Exports Shown By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright ■ London, July 1-1. The British Board of Trade returns for June, compared with those of June, 1931, are as follow:—

The principal increases in the imports are:—Grain and flour, £509,000; iron ore and scrap, £101,000; seeds and nuts, £398,000; non-ferrous metals and manufactures thereof, £162,000; oils, fats, and resins, and manufactures thereof, £216,000. Increases in the exports were:—Wool, raw and waste, £177,000; seedsand nuts, £132,000; non-ferrous metals and manufactures thereof, £267,000; machinery. £357,000. Decreases shown in the imports included:—Meat, £664,000;. dairy produce, £437,000; beverages, £454,000; tobacco. £603,000; wood and timber, £1,033.000; rubber, £305,000; raw cotton. £130,000. Decreases in exports were: —Coal, £323,000; cotton yarns and manufactures, £174,000; woollen and worsted yarns and manufactures, £108.000; chemicals and dyes, £221,000. Gold Mining Returns Gillespies Beach Gold Dredging CoLtd., yesterday reported to the StockExchange Association a return of 340 z. for 135 hours’ work last week. Okarito Five Mile Beach Gold Dredging Co., Ltd., reported a wash-up of 340 z. 2dwt. for 126 hours’ dredging.
