The latest buying and selling Ructions recorded yesterday on the Wellington Stock Exchange were as follow.—

Tallow and Hemp in London The Department of Agriculture has receiver! the following cablegram, dated July 13, from the High Commissioner for New Zealand, London :— Tallow: No auction this week; market quiet, with spot and forward quotations nominally unchanged. Hemp: Manila —Market firmer. “K” grade for August-October shipment sold at 15/-. Sisal —Market firmer. Good business has been done. Afloat, JulySeptember shipment sold at £l7/5/-; August-October shipment up to £l7/6/3; and October-December shipment up to £l7/10/-. New Zealand—Market quiet and nominal. No first-hand sales reported.
