STRUCK BY LIGHTNING
Twenty Glasgow Houses e> VIOLENT STORM BREAKS London, June 24. Twenty houses were struck by lightning during a violent early morning storm over Glasgow. Several roofs were tom off and houses set on fire. The storm water was sometimes four feet deep and drove residents from their homes. A burst water main and failure of the electric light increased the confusion. Fifteen residents of a tenement had barely reached the street when the roof fell in and crashed through three floors.
